NHTL invited Professor Jungchul Lee (Department of Mechanical Engineering, Sogang University) for giving a seminar titled “Pioneering Hydrogel MEMS: Hydrogel Micropatterning using Digital Mask Lithography”.

Dr. Bong Jae Lee attended Japan-Korea Joint Seminar on Heat Transfer VII in Fukuoka, Japan and present our work on near-field thermal radiation – 11/17/2013~11/19/2013.

Dr. Bong Jae Lee gave a seminar titled “Harvesting Solar Thermal Energy using Nanoscale Engineering” in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Korea University.

Dr. Bong Jae Lee gave a seminar titled “Measurement of Radiative Properties and Their Control using Nanostructures” in Environmental and Energy Systems Research Division at Korea Institute of Machinery & Materials (KIMM).

Dr. Bong Jae Lee gave a seminar titled “Metamaterials for Thermal Radiation and Their Counterpart for Acoustic Waves and Phonons” Department of Nano Manufacturing Technology at Korea Institute of Machinery & Materials (KIMM).

Dr. Bong Jae Lee gave a seminar titled “Plasmonic Nanoparticles for Energy and Sensing Applications” at National Cheng Kung University, Tainan, Taiwan.

Dr. Bong Jae Lee gave a seminar titled “Tailoring Radiative Properties using Nanostructures” at Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI).

NHTL invited Professor Hyungdae Kim (Department of Nuclear Engineering, Kyung Hee University) for giving a seminar titled “Advanced Two-Phase Heat Transfer Studies based on Infra-red Thermometry Techniques”.

NHTL invited Professor Minhee Yun (Department of Electrical and Computer Science, University of Pittsburgh) for giving a seminar titled “Conductormetric Nanowire Biosensor for the Detection of Cardiovascular and Cancer Biomakers”.

Dr. Bong Jae Lee visited the Tokyo University of Science and the Tokyo Metropolitan University to give a seminar titled “Thermal Radiative Properties of Nanostructures”.
